Job Fair

Job Fair usually happens about one month before the National Program of Integrated Circuits Designers Training ends.

This event proposal, organized by the Training Centers (CTs), is to get students next to the labor market. The CT promotes the first contact between the trainees and the companies, where the students do job interviews and companies choose future candidates according to their available vacancies, to do a supervised internship (trainee), also called Phase III of the Training Program.

The companies are in the microelectronics area, most of them are Design Houses (DHs- Integrated Circuits Project Development Centers) for the supervised internship, which is held for up to one year. There are job offers according to the demand of each company. The scholarships depend on the availability budget.

Companies have access to professionals with high standard of expertise participating of the Job Fair. The three main areas of integrated circuits project development are Digital Systems, Mixed-Signal Systems and Radio Frequency Systems.

It is important to note that the CTs role during the Job Fair is as a facilitator. After the event, both the students and companies can be on contact between them and present their proposals.
